It’s sad to leave The Sha’tar-EU behind but with the unfortunate population decline since Cataclysm, what was once a small, friendly realm with a fun and varied RP community has slowly become empty and recruitment has become increasingly difficult.

While we’ve loved our time on The Sha’tar, the community we’ve built is important to us and we wish to keep growing and keep raiding. For those who don’t know us, we’re a mature guild with high standards for our members – we have a strict 18+ policy and we have a strict policy of not recruiting asshats. These policies have kept this guild a healthy and fun place to be for the last 6 years. As such, we’ve always valued the maturity and vibrance of being on an RP server. All of our members abide by the server rules and have been part of the RP community in The Sha’tar’s better day.

So, here we are, on Argent Dawn looking to rebuild our raid team, bolster our ranks with more social players, return to our RP roots and become part of a thriving server community again. It’s an exciting time for us all and I want to give a huge thanks to all my guildies for being so positive and enthusiastic about the move. We can’t wait to establish ourselves on this great realm and get back to making this the best darn guild on any server!

Immortalis have been hard at work (and play) raiding in T14 pursuing their goal of clearing as much content as possible before patch 5.2 arrives with the Throne of Thunder raid instance.

Refreshed by a break over the festive period the raid team have been leaving heroic corpses in their wake in recent weeks taking the tally to 6/16HC.

Congratulations to Brixia once again for managing to get them all to shoot at the right things for long enough to kill stuff.

With the mighty Brixia once again leading the intrepid explorers in to the Terrace of the Endless Springs they knew it would not be long before they stood face to face with the Sha ready for their biggest challenge since Deathwing.  Blocking their path were the Protectors of the Endless, Tsulong and Lei Shi.

The Protectors offered little resistance and were quickly despatched in Elite mode.  The troubled Tsulong also caused no trouble for the team and was defeated/saved before ‘too long’ in a stunning display of dps and epic healing. After a brief pause for everyone to say ‘Aw, isn’t she cute?’ the team quickly set about chasing Lei Shi around her platform spamming their AoE to find her.  It wasn’t long before the 3rd boss was down and the loot was distributed.

And so the moment arrived.  Standing before the Sha of Fear the raiders took a big gulp and dived right in.  The struggle was intense and emotions ran high but eventually even the Sha of Fear was no match.

Poses were made and screenshots taken.  I guess they can all rest easy now safe in the knowledge that Pandaria is no longer in the clutches of the Sha of Fear right?  Wrong!  Anyone fancy having a go at the Heroic modes?

It wasn’t just about the boss kills though as progress is well under way with the Glory of the Pandaria Raider achievement.  Must Love Dogs, Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better… and Straight Six were all ticked off the list with ease.
